Hello Everyone, I am Terencio and me and my wife have worked hard at creating simple and effective meals to help us through our daily routines. It wasn’t always this way.
In 2007 I ate whatever I wanted to eat without thinking about the consequences of the quality or the quantity. Everything changed when I decided to join a flag football league for a little competition, and let me tell you that there was nothing competitive about the nature of my overall health when trying to keep up with those guys. It seemed that I was out of touch with my health and something had to changed.
Working out and getting back in shape was my # 1 priority! Over the next 6 months I went from being a 6 foot tall 217 pound guy to a Lean & Mean 6 foot tall 178! Wow!!! What a difference that hard work and determination can make I thought…
At this point, I changed my workout routine from all cardio to a strict muscle building routine that bulked me up over the years to about 207 pounds. I would be lying if this was an easy task, but by no means that after working all day, coming home to 3 kids ( 6, 13, & 19-in college) and getting dinner prepared and heading to the gym, coming home and getting ready to do it all again the next day. Let me take a breather for a second, there is an incredible chance that your going through an similar scenario and would like some clarity on ways to improve. That is why I created this site. What has become easy is the daily commitment to create healthy meals for my family while working out with my wife in the evening. Our oldest daughter just finished her freshman year at Kansas University (KU), our second in line will be starting high school (9th grade) and last but not least the little guy in the picture to the right just finished kinder.
